Notice: Tuscola County Road Commission Roadside Spraying

The Tuscola County Road Commission will soon begin its annual roadside spraying program.

If you do not want the roadside adjacent to your property sprayed, you must contact the Road Commission directly. They will come out and place a “Do Not Spray” sign on your property.

Burn Ban Lifted Effective Immediately

Local officials have officially lifted the outdoor burn ban.

While burning is now permitted, residents must continue to follow standard safety protocols. Always check local regulations regarding required burn permits before lighting any fire.

PUBLIC HEARING NOTICE: 2026-2027 Proposed Budget

The Millington Township Board will hold a Special Meeting and Public Hearing on the proposed Township budget for the 2026-2027 fiscal year.

  • Date: Tuesday, April 7, 2026
  • Time: 6:00 PM
  • Location: Millington Township Hall, 8553 State St, Millington, MI

The purpose of this meeting is to receive public comments on the proposed budget and to formally adopt the budget for the upcoming fiscal year.

Reviewing the Budget: Copies of the proposed 2026-2027 budget are available for public inspection at the Township Office during regular business hours. Residents are encouraged to review the document and attend the hearing to offer comments or ask questions.

Millington Township will provide necessary reasonable auxiliary aids and services to individuals with disabilities at the meeting upon five days’ notice to the Township Clerk.

Office Closure Notice: Good Friday

The Millington Township office will be closed on Friday, April 3, 2026, in observance of Good Friday.

Normal business hours will resume on Monday, April 6, 2026.

  • Payments & Paperwork: For your convenience, the secure drop box located at the Township Hall is available 24/7 for any non-cash payments, permit applications, or correspondence.
  • Emergencies: As always, please dial 911 for any police, fire, or medical emergencies.
