PUBLIC HEARING NOTICE: 2026-2027 Proposed Budget
The Millington Township Board will hold a Special Meeting and Public Hearing on the proposed Township budget for the 2026-2027 fiscal year.
- Date: Tuesday, April 7, 2026
- Time: 6:00 PM
- Location: Millington Township Hall, 8553 State St, Millington, MI
The purpose of this meeting is to receive public comments on the proposed budget and to formally adopt the budget for the upcoming fiscal year.
Reviewing the Budget: Copies of the proposed 2026-2027 budget are available for public inspection at the Township Office during regular business hours. Residents are encouraged to review the document and attend the hearing to offer comments or ask questions.
Millington Township will provide necessary reasonable auxiliary aids and services to individuals with disabilities at the meeting upon five days’ notice to the Township Clerk.
Office Closure Notice: Good Friday
The Millington Township office will be closed on Friday, April 3, 2026, in observance of Good Friday.
Normal business hours will resume on Monday, April 6, 2026.
- Payments & Paperwork: For your convenience, the secure drop box located at the Township Hall is available 24/7 for any non-cash payments, permit applications, or correspondence.
- Emergencies: As always, please dial 911 for any police, fire, or medical emergencies.

Board of Review Meeting Dates
Board of Review Organizational Meeting March 3, 2026, at 11am. The Millington Township Board of Review will meet for its annual organizational session to receive the current year’s assessment roll from the Assessor, elect a chairperson, and establish meeting procedures. Please note: Public appeal hearings are not held during this meeting. This meeting is open to the public in accordance with the Open Meetings Act.
Board of Review Wrap-Up and Certification Meeting March 12, 2026, at 10am. The Millington Township Board of Review will meet to finalize assessment decisions and certify the 2026 assessment roll. This meeting is open to the public in accordance with the Open Meetings Act.
Notice of Cancellation: Zoning Board of Appeals February Meeting.
The Zoning Board of Appeals regular scheduled meeting for February 4, 2026, at 6pm has been canceled. The next scheduled meeting will be September 24, 2026 at 6pm at the Township Hall.
